Frassati's Impact

Saint, Athlete, Student, Friend, Servant

Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901-1925)

The Frassati Education Fund is named after Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901-1925), a young Italian Catholic known for his joyful faith, love for the poor, and commitment to serving others.

A student, athlete, and mountain climber, Frassati showed that holiness can be lived in everyday life. His example continues to inspire young people and families worldwide. When he died unexpectedly at just 24, thousands of the poor he had quietly served came to honor him, revealing the extraordinary impact of his hidden acts of charity.

His motto, "Verso l'Alto" ("To the Heights"), calls us to pursue excellence, virtue, and a deeper relationship with God.

We believe Catholic education helps students answer that same call by forming young people who grow in faith, knowledge, character, and service to others.

Although he lived only twenty-four years, Pier Giorgio left an enduring legacy that continues to inspire students, families, educators, and Catholics worldwide.
